The first real museum about Internet, which will offer its visitor a journey through the history of the internet, will open its gates at the end of 2015 in the city of artistic upheavals, Berlin. A journey into cyberspace in 1,000 sq m in Berlin. The museum will be the first of its kind, will extend over 1,000 square meters and is expected to attract approximately 30,000 visitors per year.
The journey into cyberspace will begin with Arpanet, which connected four American university institutions in 1969, and will progressively lead the visitor to today's digital universe.
There will be exhibits about internet pioneers, such as the creator of the www, Tim Berners-Lee, or Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, as well as the developments of the exciting technological revolution of the 70s and 80s. Among the exhibits will be vintage computers, as well as the world's first server, called "NeXTCube".

Furthermore, visitors will have the opportunity to delve into issues they only know superficially - Web 2.0, the actions of hackers or predictions for the future of the digital universe - or to travel back in time by "playing" with revivals of static websites from the past or forgotten projects like Geocities.
The Museum's managers assure that its content will be constantly renewed, hosting interactive installations, temporary exhibitions and educational programs.
