Google creates artificial skin for early cancer diagnosis – Will work with a smart wristband to detect cancer cells
The synthetic skin created by Google X scientists is helping them develop a system for early detection of cancer
Google , in addition to dominating the search engine and online advertising space worldwide, has undertaken various initiatives in the fields of self-driving vehicles, renewable energy sources and health with various impressive projects.
The company's laboratory called Google Xwhere dozens of researchers from various sciences are employed, in order to find effective ways to combat persistent diseases that plague humanity, such as cancer.
The Atlantic had the opportunity to enter this laboratory and presents us with a new revolutionary method for early detection of cancer through the skin, with the help of nanotechnology and a smart wristband that will diagnose their existence and magnetize cancer cells.
For this reason, scientists at Google X Labs have managed to create synthetic skin that, combined with real skin samples, will help them see how the skin reacts when the promising cancer detection system is applied. Watch the very interesting video from The Atlantic that gives new hope in the battle against the insidious disease:
