Google Drive for desktops running OS X and Windows has released version 1.19.8268.4572, bringing a new set of features. It's worth noting that all of the new features that make their appearance in the new version already exist in rival cloud service Dropbox.
According to Google, the status menu is new and visually richer. The main menu of the app allows you to monitor the sync status of your files such as the last files synced, those currently syncing, files that are about to be uploaded to the cloud, or those that have already been downloaded.
You can also limit your bandwidth. For example, if you want to prioritize transferring other files or anything else that has to do with the internet, you can set it within the application. On the other hand, if you want to synchronize your files faster, you can set a higher bandwidth through the preferences menu, in the '' Advances section''.
