Microsoft patches critical vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer, Office, and Windows
Microsoft will patch three critical security vulnerabilities in Internet Explorer , Office , and Windows next week.
Among the three critical bulletins is an issue that leaves Internet Explorer to remote code execution attacks.Upgrading for the second bulletin requires a restart.
The security issues included in bulletins 3, 4, and 5, which affect Office 2007, 2010 , and 2013, also allow remote code execution attacks.
A remote code execution vulnerability affecting Windows in bulletin 6 was rated “moderate” for some versions of Windows Server, but critical for Windows Vista and Windows 7.
The patches also fix a privilege escalation vulnerabilityinExchange Server with bulletin one that was rated “important.”
Bulletin 7 was rated “important” and addresses vulnerabilities affecting Windows Server, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 , and Windows 8.1 plus Windows RT.
System administrators should expect patches on December 9th.
