The European Code Kup is a school competition held for the first time in Europe, aimed at young children aged 6-16 and aims to encourage students to discover the magic of programming and coding, by designing games through an interactive, innovative and fun process.
Within the framework of the competition, the students were invited to develop their own games by working in teams and learning how to create imaginary worlds, models and simulations. In the final, the winners of each country (Greece, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, and Britain) qualified.
It should be noted that, according to a study conducted by the non-profit organization European Schoolnet, Greece is at the top of the European countries that are pioneering in the area of code and programming in schools.
