In October, an information campaign on security in the so-called "cyberspace" will be held in Europe, at the initiative of ENISA, the European Union Agency for Network and Information Security based in Crete.
Relevant advice from ESET experts will be published on the Cyber Security Month.eu website throughout the information campaign, as ENISA has chosen to collaborate with the private sector for this purpose.
The Personal Data Protection Authority is also participating in the campaign with the following material: adae.gr/fileadmin/cybersecurity
Also, on October 24, an information event will be held at the University of Piraeus aimed at teachers.
Of particular interest, however, is V-Alert, a European project that introduces each user to a three-dimensional virtual world, in which real scenarios of Information Security threats are simulated and executed. The user will perceive the risks and threats, but in a safe way. V-Alert was presented on November 1, 2014 by the Hellenic Open University, coordinator of the project with a completion schedule of October 2015.
