The first photo to be manipulated with Photoshop

This photo, which depicts a topless woman sunbathing on an idyllic beach, was taken by John Knoll in 1987. He shared the image with his brother Thomas Knoll, who happened to be working at that time on software that would later become known as Photoshop, which of course is now used worldwide.

The “Jennifer in Paradise» (the “Jennifer in Paradise»), as the image is referenced by the brothers, was the perfect plan for the first color image test of the program and was subsequently used in various software functions.

If you haven't already guessed, Jennifer was John’s friend when the photo was taken that became known as the first one edited with Photoshop.
