In an effort to upgrade its services, Microsoft has introduced the new version of Skype that includes, among other things, Location Sharing. Windows Phone users will now be able to share their location with others by tapping on the “share location” option. Their exact location will be displayed on a map and will be made known to third parties when desired.
New options regarding notifications
At the request of many users, Microsoft is introducing more options for notifications in Skype . Users can now choose when they want to receive notifications and when they don't. For each conversation, users can choose to "enable or disable notifications" so that they only receive notifications from those that interest them.
Other new features
Finally, the new version of Skype offers the ability to save photos
directly from the application itself.
