Microsoft has released a new version of Skype, which is already available on a range of mobile and desktop computers, including Android and iOS.
However, Skype 6.20 for Windows comes with bug fixes and performance improvements specifically targeted at modern versions of Microsoft's operating system, but the application still runs flawlessly on all other versions of the operating system, including XP.
Microsoft hasn't announced any details about this version so far, as the company recently released the download links, but it's safe to say that many of the bugs that were found in the app will no longer be present.
As you probably already know, Skype is the ideal choice for those who want to talk to their friends via video chats or messages, while also offering file transfer support, video messaging, and phone calling options to lines from almost all over the world.
Of course, you should all upgrade to the new version of the app as soon as possible, especially if the bugs affected the overall desktop experience.
