PhpMyAdmin toolwritten in PHP that can manage MySQL databases, has reached version 4.2.8.
The new phpMyAdmin version 4.2.8 is available and the developers have released new fixes for the tool. It is a maintenance release, so don't expect to see any major changes or new features.
According to the changelog, some strange behavior regarding export has been fixed, PhpMyAdmin is now able to read sql.js, the allowed chart types now match the selected data, when exporting to SQL the CREATE TABLE AUTO_INCREMENT option is no longer ignored, and column names are no longer duplicated when sorting the index.
Also, partition table export is now done correctly, importing ODS files with column names no longer fails, a navigation bug in the Nav Tree for older search results on the first page has been fixed, and various other bugs and issues have also been fixed.
