Google -Big Brother: A simple trick to see all the places you've been [video&images]

google maps660If you have a Gmail account or use any Google application, you have a good opportunity to remember the stages of your… life, as your every step has been recorded and engraved in the online memory.

Fortunately, there's an easy trick that lets you see all the places and maps of your route, as recorded by Google. Of course, this all depends on whether you have two settings enabled on your smartphone: "location reporting" and "location history.".

So, if the above had happened, here's what you should do:

First, log in with your existing Google account or sign in to your Gmail. Then, the Google Maps website will look something like this:

It is also possible that some data from points you have passed will appear on your screen almost immediately, or nothing at all. It all depends on whether and when you install location reporting applications, such as Google Maps, on your smartphone.

The easiest way to see the history of places you've been to over time is to change the "ticker" to show the time period you're looking for, from one day to 30 days. This will start to show red lines of the routes you've taken over a month.

Also, in addition to the traditional map, satellite view is also offered:

If you still don't see anything, then it means you haven't enabled the corresponding location apps.

As for those who do not wish to leave... traces, there is always the alternative of deleting the entire history "Delete all history" or the history of a specific period "Delete history from this time period".

Now, if you didn't understand any of the above, watch the video with step-by-step instructions:
