Last Monday, Stephen Colbert dedicated a few minutes of his show to a new smart glass called Vessyl. It's a gadget that, among other things, recognizes any liquid you put inside it. The brilliant comedian took the opportunity to talk about it in the most humorous way you can think of.
At the end of the video, Stephen Colbert concludes his review with an announcement: he will also create a device to monitor your body's hydration levels. We won't say more, it's better to see it for yourself.
What is Vessyl?
As the man who created it explains in the video below, in addition to recognizing whatever liquid is inside, Vessyl also recognizes its nutritional information (sugars, proteins, calories, fats and caffeine), whether it is a commercial product or something you created yourself at home. It also synchronizes with some of the most popular activity trackers on the market. Vessyl will be released in early 2015 and will cost $199.
