Two new screenshots of Windows 9 (codenamed Threshold) have been leaked, one showing the new Start menu with live tiles and the other showing how Metro apps.
In these screenshots it appears that the version number is 9795 dated July 13th and is part of uip_dev, (User Interface & Platform), the Windows development department that deals with appearance changes.
In this version, the new window title bars are not present because they are apparently being developed in parallel in another version
According to a Russian website, the second update to Windows 8.1 will also be the last , as the first beta version of Threshold will be released in the fall.
As for Windows 8.1 update 2 , which is expected on August 12, it is certain that it will not contain the new Start menu in the form we see it and it is doubtful whether it will contain the ability to display Metro applications in windows on the desktop.
