The wristband that Sony announced in January at CES 2014 is now available in the Greek market for around 100 euros. It is the SmartBand SWR10 that monitors your physical and digital activity, continuously.
The SmartBand SWR10 communicates with the Lifelog application and an Android smartphone via Bluetooth and NFC. In combination with the SmartBand, the application records details of your life and entertainment, the company says in the relevant announcement. Specifically, it is stated that the wristband will record:
- the places you visited,
- the music you listened to,
- the games you played
- the books you read
- How far did you walk?
- How far did you run?
- How much did you sleep and
- you will be able to wake up easily at the right time.
The device is already available in stores, with a suggested retail price of €99. It is initially available in black. From July 15, 3 packs (classic, fashion and active) with 3 straps in different colors each will be available, for €20.90.
- The SmartBand requires an Android device with Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0. As for compatibility, the manufacturer states that Sony Xperia is compatible (and the Xperia Z1, Z2 are recommended) as well as LG Nexus 5, LG Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy Note III, Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S5, HTC One and HTC One M8.
