Ahead of VLC the Windows Phone Store, a new app that makes it easier to control the media player on the PC version is now available for download.
The VLC Mobile Remote is aimed at video and music enthusiasts who own a Windows phone and don’t have time to use a computer to change a music track or pause a movie.
The app can easily control VLC media player directly from a Windows phone, turning it into a remote control.
According to the developers, the application can stop, play and pause a track and offers many other commands, such as volume control, Mute, next track and previous track. Fast forward and fast rewind options are also included.
With VLC Mobile Remote, users will be able to control multiple computers, but they can also manage subtitles, playback speed, and playlists. Users can customize the app using various themes.
You can download VLC Mobile Remote for Windows Phone for free from the Windows Phone Store. Please note that the app is fully compatible with all devices running Windows Phone 8 and above (including Windows Phone 8.1).
