Creating an Azure is very easy and they offer a 30-day free trial. Once you have completed the account creation, you can easily create websites using the admin panel.
However, the registration process is not easy for criminals because they will have to provide a valid phone number and credit card details.
MalwareBytes researchers report that the attackers may have used stolen usernames and passwords from legitimate users who have already registered.
Netcraft has identified several phishing websites on Azure, targeting PayPal, Apple, Visa, American Express, and Cielo users.
