Microsoft has , as expected , patched the recent Internet Explorer security flaw, but the surprise is that the vulnerability was also patched in Windows XP, even though it is no longer supported.
This is a serious security flaw affecting versions 6 to 11 of Internet Explorer for Windows, through which hackers can gain administrator rights on the computer.
Microsoft seems to understand that the usage rate of Windows XP is still high and wanted to satisfy the remaining users, however, as everything shows, this was the last breath that Microsoft gave to Windows XP.
