The first quarter of 2014 saw about 23 million new members added to the site – Approximately 600,000 active users in Greece
A landmark day today for LinkedIn, which officially announced that the site reached 300 million members.
According to the announcement, in the first quarter of 2014 about 23 million new members were added to the site, while 67% of members are professionally active outside the USA.
LinkedIn was founded in December 2002, but officially launched on May 5, 2003.
Its registered members have the ability to create their personal professional profile, connect with other users, search for jobs, and also build a client base.
The site is available in 19 languages and is considered the most successful professional social networking site worldwide. In Greece it is estimated that there are about 600,000 active users.
