Cambridge English, through its computer-based testing service, provides an additional opportunity for candidates as they will now be able to participate in English certification exams on alternative dates throughout the year, without having to wait for the main exam periods of May and December.
Each school year, new exam dates are announced by Cambridge English and interested parties can register up to 15 days before the date on which they wish to take the exam.
The computer-based exams cover all levels, from A2 (Key) to C2 (Proficiency) and allow participants to be informed of their results in just 2 weeks after the exams are held.
Computer-based testing provides a series of personalized benefits, such as the ability for the candidate to determine the intensity of the Listening test during the exam and of course the ability for each person to choose their desired exam date, without pressure and anxiety.
The number of candidates taking computer-based tests has already exceeded 150,000 worldwide, just 16 months after the creation of the new platform, which was created to improve the overall candidate experience.
