Police have started to hunt crime on social media as well. At least in Los Angeles, it's a good thing they're doing it, as it turned out they put an end to a 20-year-old's paranoid plan.
Dakari Dijon McAnuff made the terrifying post on Twitter. He posted a photo of his gun pointed out the window at the street and accompanied it with a horrific pledge. "With 100 retweets, I will shoot anyone walking by," he wrote.
Fortunately, local police caught the post before it was reposted, as no one knew if the 20-year-old was serious. However, he was arrested on charges of making threats and remained in jail, as bail was set at $50,000.
