Usually, tablets and smartphones make our lives easier, but not if you're trying to concentrate on a task with a specific time limit.
In these cases, having your tablet next to you may not be the best idea, because you might be tempted to take a quick look at Facebook or simply search for something on Google.
To combat these mood swings, a member of the xda-developers forum has developed an app that's particularly useful for tablet users, called ClearFocus.
ClearFocus is a simple app that allows users to set work intervals and breaks. There is an option to set longer breaks after a prolonged period of work. Users will notice a large circle, taking up most of the work environment, which will start counting down. In the center of the circle, the remaining time will be displayed.
Since most of the distractions come from the internet, the developers added the ability to turn off the internet while the timer is active.
What's more, notifications and sounds can be disabled. Now you'll have no excuse not to complete your work on time. You can download the app from Google Play.
