Internet users are urged to be particularly wary of emails purporting to come from Google's photo sharing and editing service, Picasa.
The fake emails titled “We add new photos to your album” are part of a spam campaign designed to lure unsuspecting users to “shady” online pharmacy websites.
According to Hoax Slayer, the messages inform recipients that new photos have been added to their albums. When they click the “View album” button to view the photos, users are taken to a “suspicious” pharmacy website, also known as Canadian Pharmacy.
Users should never purchase pharmaceutical products from untrustworthy websites, no matter how good the offers may sound.
In most cases, the websites sell counterfeit products that may endanger customers' health, or are simply designed to collect users' personal information.
It is very important to choose the websites of reliable companies when we want to buy medicines online.
