Microsoft announces an update for Windows XP

Microsoft-Announces-Patch-for-Windows-XP-Zero-Day-Flaw

Microsoft announced that it will release a set of four different security bulletins that are rated as "important" and are supposed to fix bugs in Windows and other Microsoft software solutions.

One of the patches is supposed to fix a recently discovered zero-day flaw in Windows XP that allows hackers to run malicious code on vulnerable computers using a PDF document.

A spokesperson says the bug has already been fixed in newer versions of Adobe Reader, but Windows XP also needs to be updated.

As usual, the update will be released via Windows Update.
