It seems that the new year is starting off a bit badly for Microsoft, as the company has been targeted by the well-known hacking group Syrian Electronic Army.
A few hours after Microsoft the breach of its official Twitter account, a successful hacking attack was also carried out on its official Blog.
The team managed to create an article titled “Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army” on Microsoft’s official Technet blog (“blogs.technet.com/b/microsoft_blog/”).
The group appears to still have access to Microsoft email accounts. They also shared a message sent between two employees regarding the security breach.
The Technet blog is now working normally.
