Honda's paradoxical idea for ultimate device protection
There are a lot of cell phone cases on the market that promise to offer protection in the event of a fall. However, Honda is coming up with a seemingly paradoxical idea for the ultimate protection of the cell phone with a promotional video that it has released.
Of course, Honda doesn't make phone cases. The video below is the fantastic story of an inventor who is inspired by the Honda Motors N series to solve the problem of fragile smartphones using an airbag!
The video may be a work of fiction, but the case is not! The case has a series of six small airbags placed around the device. The airbags are activated when the accelerometer-based mechanism "understands" that a fall has occurred..
This particular case would of course have many negatives, such as its large size, the high cost of manufacturing and restoring after a fall, and of course the risk of activating the mechanism by mistake.
