27-year-old hacker Mohammad Azhar Tahir from Singapore was arrested after an attack he carried out against the official website of the country's prime minister.
The hacker is accused of a total of ten offenses, including unauthorized access to computer systems, hacking into online accounts, and modifying the content of the prime minister's website.
According to the TV channel News Asia, his 21-year-old brother Mohammad was arrested and is also charged with hacking offenses, including computer hacking, hacking Gmail, Facebook, Blogspot, Hotmail accounts, as well as hacking a YouTube account and uploading an anonymous video.
Both arrested individuals are required to pay a fine of $10,000 (€7,500) in order to be released on bail until the final hearing of the case.
