Mass anti-government protests are taking place in Angola, following accusations made by opposition members against government officials of involvement in the murder of two political activists last year.
Anonymous has joined the protesters. Over the past two days, hacktivists have begun carrying out DDoS attacks against all Angolan government websites.
So far, hackers have targeted around 70 websites, the list of which has been published on Pastebin.
Currently, most websites are online but are experiencing performance issues. However, some of them are still down.
At least one protester has been killed during recent demonstrations and several hundred have been detained. The country's president, Jose Eduardo dos Santos, accuses the opposition of fomenting chaos. The opposition, on the other hand, claims that protesting is the only way to be heard.
