Google is finally offering developers a sneak peek at the Glass Developer Kit, something people have been waiting for for a long time.
The new GDK, although in early release, has already released hints about many things that will soon be available for the glasses and some tools that will make them even more useful once the device receives the stable release version.
One of the most important features is related to the fact that the glasses' applications will no longer require an online connection to function and it will finally be possible to use your device directly without an Internet connection, as the applications will gain direct access to the glasses' hardware.
Although Google Glasses has been available to developers for several months now, they only had access to the regular Android SDK, which they used to build all the apps.
