The number of applications available for smartphones with Windows Phone 8 operating system is gradually increasing, as shown by the data announced by Microsoft.
According to these figures, 500 new applications are added to the American company's online store on a daily basis. Among the new "arrivals" are several popular titles, such as Instagram, Waze and Vine.
At the same time, the installations through the online store have reached 60 billion since its creation. Also, 10 million transactions are made through the platform every day, that is, 300 million on a monthly basis.
Microsoft is also emphasizing increasing profits for developers who develop applications for Windows Phone 8. Thus, revenue from app sales has increased by 191% since the Windows Phone Store began operating.
