Artificial intelligence company Perplexity has introduced Perplexity Health, a set of connectors that allow Perplexity to access users' health data.
Perplexity suggests that the feature is useful for aggregating health data from various portals, apps, and devices. It is capable of tracking measurements and trends over time in biomarkers, with the information displayed on a personalized dashboard.

When asked a health-related question, Perplexity Health can answer based on medical records, lab results, and data from wearable devices.
Perplexity Health and Perplexity Computer
With Perplexity Computer (Perplexity’s AI tool), AI agents can use health information to create personalized fitness, nutrition, and more plans . Perplexity Health on Computer is rolling out first to Pro and Max users in the U.S. Perplexity says Perplexity Health draws from “premium medical literature” such as clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Perplexity has created a dedicated Board (Perplexity Health Advisory Board) of doctors, researchers, and health technology experts who will “test” product decisions, content quality, and clinical safeguards against evidence-based medicine standards.
Perplexity Health can connect to Apple Health, so it can integrate data collected from the Apple Watch and added to the Apple Health app.
It also supports Fitbit, Ultrahuman, and Withings, along with electronic medical records from over 1.7 million healthcare providers. Integrations with Oura and Function are coming soon.

Health data is encrypted , and Perplexity says there are strict access controls and tools to manage or delete information at any time. Health information is not used to train AI models or sold to third parties.
Perplexity is the second AI company to integrate with Apple Health. OpenAI introduced a ChatGPT Health with Apple Health support in early 2026.
