Meta 's Creator Fast Track program guarantees three months of payment for established creators who are willing to build an audience on Facebook . It's worth noting that the company has already paid out $3 billion to creators in 2025.

Facebook has a creator problem that three billion monthly users . The platform is huge, but the creators who drive the “short-form video economy,” the ones who build loyal audiences on TikTok and YouTube, have largely ignored Facebook.
Launching on a new platform (Facebook) from scratch is discouraging and Facebook’s history with creators is quite complicated, causing many to hesitate.

Facebook Creator Fast Track: Incentives for creators
On Wednesday, Meta launched Creator Fast Track, an effort to address creators’ doubts about money. The program offers established creators who have audiences on other platforms guaranteed monthly payments for three months in exchange for publishing Reels on Facebook.
Creators with at least 100,000 followers on Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube can earn $1,000 per month. Those who have surpassed one million followers on any of these platforms receive $3,000 per month.
The requirements of Facebook are not strict:
- Creators must post at least 15 Reels to Facebook within a 30-day period, spread across at least 10 different days.
- Content does not have to be exclusive to Facebook and can include AI-generated material, as long as it is original to the creator.
Joining also unlocks immediate access to Facebook Content Monetization, the broader, invite-only program that pays based on content performance. This means earnings continue even after the three-month guaranteed period ends.

It is worth noting that in 2025, Facebook paid nearly $3 billion to content creators through its monetization programs, a 35% increase from the previous year and the highest annual payout in its history.
Επίσης, ο αριθμός των δημιουργών που κερδίζουν περισσότερα από $10,000 ετησίως στο Facebook αυξήθηκε κατά πάνω από 30% από έτος σε έτος.
The breakdown of where that money went is also noteworthy. Sixty percent of the $3 billion went to Reels, while the remaining 40% was split across Stories, photos, and text. That last detail is important to the Creator Fast Track proposition: unlike TikTok and YouTube, which are fundamentally video platforms, Facebook Content Monetization pays for almost anything a creator posts.
A writer who shares texts, a photographer who publishes photos , or a creator who primarily works on Stories can earn from the platform without committing to video production.

Facebook Content Monetization
Facebook Content Monetization has expanded dramatically over the past year. According to Rest of World analysis, from Meta Monetization Archive data as of February 2026, the program grew from about 2.7 million participants to 12 million in just over a year.

Meta is also introducing new metrics with the program to help creators understand their earnings more accurately. These include a Qualified View metric, views on content eligible for monetization, and an Earnings Rate that shows the approximate payout per 1,000 eligible views.
