The Soundcore Space 2 will be available in the US on April 21st in three colors — white, black, and green — for $129.99. That price is $30 higher than the original Space One.

The Soundcore Space 2 features an upgraded full-band noise cancellation, focusing on low-frequency sounds that are typically blocked by ANC headphones, such as engine noises on airplanes, trains, and buses. It retains the same number of microphones as the Space One, but improves performance through optimized microphone placement and material improvements.
Redesigned 40mm drivers incorporate dual layers, with a silk diaphragm and metal ceramic for faster response and better sound reproduction. The Space 2 supports LDAC high-resolution audio, similar to the Space One.

Wireless connectivity is provided via Bluetooth 6.1, although it doesn't support Auracast. There's a 3.5mm jack for wired connections.
Battery life has been extended to 50 hours with ANC and 70 hours without, compared to 40 hours with ANC and 55 hours without on the Space One. A five-minute charge provides an additional four hours of listening time.
The Space 2 retains features from the Space One, such as HearID 3.0 for personalized sound adjustment and a sensor that stops playback when the headphones are removed. However, they come with a cloth bag instead of a protective case, which may not provide sufficient protection for users who frequently carry their headphones.

While the Soundcore Space One was a top pick for budget ANC headphones, the increased price tag for the Space 2 raises expectations. As ANC technology improves and competition increases from brands like Sony, EarFun, and JLab, the performance of the Space 2 will be critical to maintaining its appeal. If it offers comparable ANC performance, sound quality, and comfort, it could remain a strong contender in the budget headphone market.
