Fender Audio, the consumer electronics company owned by the famous guitar maker, announced its first pair of wireless headphones at CES 2026. What sets the Mix headphones apart from the competition is their impressive battery life, a modular design that allows the headphones and headband to be swapped out in different colors, and a focus on longevity with a battery that is easily accessible and replaceable.

When they launch this year, the Mix headphones will initially be available in white and black for $299.99 . That's significantly lower than the $450 price tag for Sony 's top-of-the-line WH-1000XM6 headphones , which launched last May.
While Sony's ANC headphones reach up to 30 hours of playback with ANC on andup to 40 hours with it off, the Mix headphones offer up to 52 hours with ANC and up to 100 hours without.

Hidden beneath the Mix’s earcups are a pair of 40mm “ultra-efficient graphene drivers” and a few other surprises. Removing the earcup on one side reveals a removable panel for replacing the Mix’s battery, while the other side hides a storage compartment for a USB-C wireless transmitter. The Mix can connect to audio sources using a USB-C cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.3 with support for the SBC and AAC codecs.
Switching to the included transmitter enables 96kHz/24bit LHDC lossless wireless streaming as well as LC3 and Auracast low-latency modes.

You can still revert to using a 3.5mm audio cable when the Mix headphones' battery is completely drained, but Fender Audio says a quick 15-minute charge will provide up to eight hours of playback, or nearly double that if you keep ANC off.
