According to a survey by the international human rights watchdog, Freedom House, Iceland is the country with the fewest restrictions on Internet freedom worldwide.
The survey ranks 60 countries according to restrictions on access, content, and violations of user rights.
Greece is not included in the countries under study.
As the graph shows, the lower a country scores, the greater the freedom its citizens enjoy on the Internet. The table also lists the worst performing countries, Argentina and Kenya.
As we can see, European countries such as Germany, France and Italy, as well as the USA, Australia and Japan, enjoy considerable freedom when using the internet, with large deviations, however, from the first two, Iceland and Estonia.
