Asus denies halting RTX 5070 Ti release

The GPU market is experiencing significant confusion regarding the RTX 5070 Ti. Initially, Asus told Hardware Unboxed that production of the RTX 5070 Ti was being reduced due to supply constraints, suggesting that the model was heading towards 'end of life'. However, Asus later retracted this statement, attributing the misinformation to 'incomplete information' from its PR team.

Asus clarified that both the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB have not been discontinued and there are no plans to stop sales of these models. The chronological order of events is as follows:

1. Hardware Unboxed requested RTX 5070 Ti samples from Asus and other partners.

2. An Asus PR representative stated that they were unable to provide the RTX 5070 Ti due to supply constraints and stated that the model was 'end of life'.

3. After further investigation, Asus confirmed that the RTX 5070 Ti was 'end of life'.
