Anonymous hacktivists have carried out a hacking attack on the official website of the Prime Minister of Jordan in protest against tax and price increases. The hackers altered the content of the website and added a message in Arabic for Prime Minister Abdullah Nsur.
The message states:
“Hi, auntie, how are you? We’re sorry about the breach of your website. Are you upset? We’ve been feeling much worse since you raised the prices. People know this feeling but you don’t.”
According to a report by Voice of Russia, the site was restored after several hours. A spokesperson claims that the attackers have been identified.
