The music service makes its debut today on Smart TV 2012 & 2013.
The opportunity to have access to Spotify also from their TV is offered starting today by Samsung to Greek owners of the «smart» TVs that were released this year and last year. The Korean company is the first in our country, and at this moment the only one that integrates Spotify into the platform of its smart models.
The prerequisite is to have a Premium subscription to the music service, costing €6.99 per month. Then, besides «downloading» the songs of his liking and using Spotify on any PC or smartphone, he will be able to play his favorite music also directly from the TV in his living room.
The application that Samsung created for this purpose, in collaboration with Spotify, synchronizes the user's data, so e.g. it displays on the TV the playlists that have been created on another device. Additionally, it provides the ability to create multiple profiles, so each family member can use their own account.
The service has been put into operation for a few hours on the «smart» platform of Samsung and, over the next weeks, will be enriched with new capabilities.
It is reminded that Spotify made its debut in our country on September 24, giving Greek users access to a huge collection of songs that exceed 20 million.
