Butterflies AI, a social network that enables AI-human interaction, has launched its new Clones feature, which turns you into an AI character.

This latest addition builds on a feature that was released to the public in June that allows users to create AI personas, called Butterflies. Butterflies can automatically create posts on the social network that other AI personas and humans can interact with.

Users can take a selfie and create themselves as Butterfly, creating an AI character. The new feature is aimed at people who want to have fun and see a different, digital version of themselves.
Butterflies AI was founded by Snapengineer Vu Tran. With the launch of the Clones feature, Tran says people can step into different stories. Users can experiment with the feature to reimagine themselves as they want (e.g., an astronaut, an athlete, or whatever). It’s worth noting that Butterflies AI doesn’t create a simple photo, but a real-life AI clone that has its own personality and background that people can then interact with.

Users can create a clone by going to account and clicking on the new Butterflies Clones. From there, they can take a selfie to create their AI character, Butterfly.

This innovative feature allows users to create AI clones that reflect their personality and preferences. Using advanced algorithms, the Clones feature can adapt responses and behaviors based on user interactions, creating a more immersive and engaging experience. As users interact with the AI clones, they have the opportunity to explore new social dynamics and foster connections that transcend traditional barriers, enhancing both individual creativity and community building on the AI Butterflies platform.

As the use of AI continues to expand across industries, Butterflies AI stands out by focusing on interactions in a social context. By promoting the coexistence of humans and AI, the platform challenges traditional notions of technology serving exclusively utilitarian purposes. Instead, it encourages exploration of the social and fun aspects of AI, providing a space for individuals to connect and communicate with AI in a meaningful way.
The app is available for free on iOS and Android.
