The news was revealed by VentureBeat in an article that was widely shared on social media and has now been taken down.
Logitech MX Ink is designed for both 2D drawing via pressure on the tip and 3D creativity via full 6DoF (via the headset's cameras), multiple buttons and a haptic feedback actuator.

It connects to the headset without having to disconnect the Touch controllers, which Meta says represents the first time the Quest headset can track three controllers at once. This means you can mix and match Touch and MX Ink controllers and switch between them at any time “seamlessly.”.

When first connected, Meta says you'll go through a custom tutorial built into the Quest's system software, and a new section in the headset's settings will allow for adjusting pressure curves for the edge and main buttons, initial activation force, and double-tap timing.

The MX Ink charges itself via USB-C, and Logitech will also sell a charging dock called the MX Inkwell for more convenient charging.
The company will also offer a mat with a “smooth texture that fits perfectly with box edges” for 2D creativity, called MX Mat.

The Logitech MX Ink is expected to be released in late September, priced at $130. Pricing for the MX Inkwell charging dock and MX Mat has not yet been revealed.
Apple has reportedly been testing Apple Pencil Pro for the Vision Pro, and if that happens it could be the perfect accessory for the headset. But if that doesn't happen before the end of September, it looks like Meta will get there first through this partnership with Logitech.
