New Star Wars: Hunters Trailer - June on Switch, iOS, Android

Zynga has released a new trailer for the upcoming competitive multiplayer game Star Wars: Hunters, revealing a release date on 4 June along with a new cinematic look at some of the characters. Star Wars: Hunters will be released on Switch and on the devices iOS and Android that day, giving players the chance to compete with others in iconic locations like the moon forest of Endor, the icy planet of Hoth and elsewhere while controlling Hunters like J-3DI, a droid who thinks he's a Jedi, Utooni, consisting of two Jawas stacked on top of each other in a coat, and many others.

Zynga states that each Hunter has their own unique set of skills to help them in the Arena, which is the main attraction of the new planet of Vespara. "Star Wars: Hunters offers several game modes for players to test their skills, including Squad Brawl, in which rival teams will battle to collect the most kills, and Trophy Chase, where competing teams will compete for control of the elusive TR-F33 droid.," says a press release.

We are beyond excited to welcome fans around the world to Vespers," Zynga vice president Sam Cooper wrote in a press release. "We can't wait for gamers to meet our Hunters and enter the Arena. There are so many twists and nods to recognizable, beloved Star Wars scenes, creatures and themes within our game that we also look forward to gamers getting the chance to discover.”

Star Wars: Hunters will be available on Switch, iOS and Android devices. It will also be free on Switch no subscription required on Nintendo Switch Online to download and play.
