Publisher United Label and developer Odd Bugg Studio have released the gameplay reveal trailer for the medieval adventure RPG sequel Tails of Iron II: Whiskers of Winter, due out in 2024.

A new and violent story begins..
The Whiskers of Winter takes place after the bloody ending of the original game, where Arlo launches a violent revolutionary raid against the attack of the Dark Wings, while also offering new terrifying sidequest variations of monster hunting against gigantic beasts. The young mouse can also imbue his weapons with a series of new elements and abilities, helping him to slay enemies that are on his path. The improved settlement mechanics allow Arlo to rebuild the northern presidency of the Mice of Winter’s Edge, while his new guardian explores new and distinct areas of the border house with a cast of creatures, some to ally… and others to combat.
Odd Bug Studio has also confirmed that award-winning voice actor Doug Cockle (The Witcher 3, Baldur's Gate III, Alan Wake II) is returning to the world of Tails of Iron to provide the instantly distinctive, distinctive characters of Arlo in his bloody campaign of revenge.

Main Features:
- A large Campaign full of violence and revenge – Arlo's "tail" against the deadly Dark Wing Bats is an intense experience, with a semi-open world RPG set in six different biomes to explore, and new animal factions to discover.
- Challenging Combat – Building on the title's signature combat sequence, Tails of Iron 2 introduces enhanced weapon gameplay, including four elemental effects (fire, ice, electricity, and poison) to inspire Arlo's arsenal of unique abilities to use against enemies.
- New Monster Hunting Gameplay – To tip the balance against the new army of sharp-toothed Dark Wing Bats, Arlo can track down and take down 15 gigantic and challenging beasts to collect their carcasses for rare upgrade materials.
- Improved Base Building– Construct and upgrade the ruined settlement of Winter's Edge to gain access to more powerful items from the blacksmith, delicious meals from the kitchen, a wider range of powerful traps from the shop, and more!
- New Day and Night System – Arlo will face different enemies depending on the time of day, with more enemy types added as more monsters are hunted and fought.
Tails of Iron II: Whiskers of Winter is expected to release for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X/S & One, Switch , and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store in 2024.
