The YouTube app gets new updates frequently, and the company also likes to keep its other services, like YouTube Music, up to date. Over the past year or so, the video streaming service has been working on revamping some elements of its channel page, making it easier for both creators and viewers. The video platform has now announced a redesigned channel page for the YouTube app on TVs.

The redesign was announced in a YouTube Shorts video from the official Creator Liaison account. The focus here is on providing a “new, more disarming layout,” with the platform encouraging creators to adjust their channel banner image accordingly. As 9to5Google points out, a large portion of the screen is now taken up by the background/header image, with YouTube providing some of its own screenshots in the video announcement.
However, we don't think it will be long before the visually revamped creator page becomes widely available on the YouTube TV app. Personally, I like this change as it highlights the creator more prominently, while the easily accessible toggles for a mix or subscribe also help.

In addition to these developments, the YouTube team continues to produce new experimental features, such as the ability to get video recommendations based on colors. In addition, the platform is working to improve the podcasting on YouTube and YouTube Music.
