Although Samsung stopped production of the Galaxy Note series in 2020, one of its most innovative features was "settled" in the Galaxy S series. Samsung is not departing from this tradition with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which offers a feature that will enhance this classic S-Pen technology.

The new world of smartphones driven by artificial intelligence, a field first introduced by Google with the launch of the Pixel 8 Pro, will soon be part of the Galaxy S24 family as well.
Samsung has already revealed Samsung Gauss, the foundation of artificial intelligence that will appear within the hardware of the next Galaxy S series, along with some potential features.
Now, the effort to promote artificial intelligence has been revealed by Samsung with the two names “AI Smartphone” and “AI Phone” that are attracting interest in the EU and the United Kingdom.

Also at the recent Exynos 2400 processor, Samsung had presented a demo showing that the chip had enough processing power to run an AI model that could create images from text descriptions, using AI.
However, Samsung's choice to bring them to South Korea clearly shows that it considers the Galaxy S24 to be an AI Smartphone, as the S24 Ultra's design has been specifically adapted for a stylus like the S-Pen.
AI, therefore, will be the selling point of the new Galaxy S24.
It also ditches the curved display of previous Ultras and ushers in a completely flat display. Details about the new display come from the latest Galaxy S24 Ultra photo leaks. These show several glimpses of the S24 Ultra, including the ever-useful volume and power buttons on the right side, the lack of a camera island for the five lenses, and of course, the flat display.

Sometimes, the smallest design changes can have the biggest impact. With a flat screen, the S-Pen will reach the edges comfortably, and the interface will be much more comfortable to use. Never again will the pen slip out of the screen. If you want to select, highlight, or draw on the edges of the screen, the Ultra makes the smartphone world a little easier for you.
That's before you take into account the new hardware that will be incorporated into the 2024 S-Pen – which has already passed certification in several countries – and the S24 Ultra's digitizer that reacts to pen inputs.
Few other manufacturers offer the consistency between these two elements in their high-end phones. It's most evident in the tablet space, but if you're looking for a top-of-the-line phone that comes with a stylus, it's going to be hard to resist Samsung's latest offering.

The Galaxy S24 family, including the S24 Ultra and S-Pen, will be released in early 2024 at the “Galaxy Unpacked”, which is widely expected to take place on January 17.
