The film “Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3” is now available on Disney+ as of yesterday.

In the latest mission, the Guardians are living peacefully on Knowhere, a mining colony on the edge of space, when Rocket (Bradley Cooper) is suddenly attacked by a genetically engineered weapon called Adam Warlock (Will Poulter). The group of misfits must rescue their critically injured friend before time runs out.
When Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 hit theaters in May, many viewers were deeply moved for obvious reasons. Not only is it the final installment in the trilogy, but the film also explores Rocket's horrific, shocking past, when he and his fellow Halfworlders (government-augmented animals) were tortured by the High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji), a deranged scientist bent on creating the perfect species to live in his own utopia.

Additionally, there is tension between Peter/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and Gamora (Zoe Saldaña). At the beginning of the film, Peter is distant from his friends, devastated by the loss of Gamora, who died inAvengers: Infinity War. To make matters worse, he has to interact with a variant of Gamora, who, in the current timeline, has never been in a relationship with Peter or experienced all of their adventures together.
Without giving too much away, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” ends with an emotional conclusion, concluding director James Gunn’s final project for Marvel. Gunn is now co-CEO of DC Studios and oversees the overall creative direction of the DC universe alongside film producer Peter Safran.
Like the other two “Guardians of the Galaxy” films, the third film was a huge box office success, grossing over $845 million worldwide. The original “Guardians of the Galaxy” film premiered in 2014 and grossed approximately $773 million, while the 2017 sequel ended its run with $869 million.
