«We are pleased to announce that the digital editions of Marvel’s Midnight Suns for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be released on Thursday, May 11» they confirmed. «Note that the edition of Marvel’s Midnight Suns for the Nintendo Switch is no longer planned».
Obviously, this is bad news for Nintendo Switch fans . Luckily, PS4 and Xbox One players won't have to wait long, as Midnight Suns will be released digitally on both platforms in just over a week - that includes all 4 DLCs.
“This coincides with the release of the fourth DLC after the release of Marvel’s Midnight Suns: Blood Storm, which introduces Storm as a playable hero and new missions in the vampire story covered by the DLC.”.

The completion of all DLC missions for Deadpool, Venom, Morbius and Storm will obviously trigger a final showdown against a “primeval monster”. Whatever it may be…
It should be noted that all current DLC will be available on launch day for PS4 and Xbox One players who purchase either the legendary edition of the game or the Midnight Suns season pass.
The IGN review for Midnight Suns gave the game 8/10 and said: “With Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Firaxis entered the category of RPG developers such as BioWare, Obsidian, Bethesda and Larian. Its innovative combat system takes a little time to start, but when it does, it uses the game's mechanics with cards exceptionally well to keep battles fresh, evolving and unpredictable throughout an epic-length campaign”.
