Following a leak, PlayStation has confirmed the next free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Racing fans will definitely want to check out Grid Legends. Codemasters' latest Grid game, released just last year (the fifth in the series), is arguably the best yet. Grid Legends features a cinematic story mode, cross-platform multiplayer for up to 22 players, and a creation suite that lets you build your own tracks. It's a good game to check out, regardless of whether you're a hardcore racing fan or a casual gamer, as it's a hybrid arcade-simulation racing game with customizable settings. Both PS4 and PS5 versions will be available.

For extreme sports fans, Descenders is worth checking out in May. A downhill bike game with a simple goal: ride your bike fast, really fast. To keep things interesting, this mountain bike game uses randomly generated tracks and your bike has specific variations that use roguelike mechanics. Descenders is enjoyable whether you play alone or with friends online. It's also one of those sports games that's fairly easy to learn, but it takes time to really get the hang of its unique style.
However, Chivalry 2 is a completely different multiplayer game. You play as a medieval warrior on huge battlefields with 64 players. Played in first-person, Chivalry 2 is a fast-paced and bloody game that features over 30 different weapons, a diverse class and subclass system, and horses. Yes, you can trample your opponents on horseback.
Make sure you get your April before the new batch replaces them on May 2nd.
