Apple has released public beta 2 of the iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 updates , providing access to the newest software for all users today! This comes on the heels of Apple ’s developer preview yesterday, marking nearly a month since the initial public betas were released. Now you too can try out this next iteration with its new features to give your device a refreshed feel.

If you're enrolled in Apple, downloading the iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 is yours – just install the corresponding certificate from the Public Beta website!
Compared to its predecessors, iOS 16.3 and iPadOS 16.3 have been categorized as more minor updates with one exception: the introduction of physical security keys to add an extra layer of protection to Apple ID! This software undoubtedly gives users a greater sense of security in their online activity, which is always welcome news.
Leveraging this feature, users can now use a physical FIDO instead of device authentication whenever they sign in to Apple ID on iCloud or any new devices.
