The Russian hacking group Killnet said it “broke down” the website of the Prince of Wales – that is, Prince William – because Great Britain continues to help Ukraine.

The Killnet team made the above announcement on its Telegram channel.
However, Cloudflare, a company that provides secure web connections, appears to be performing additional security checks on the connection.

Furthermore, Killnet promised that “all medical institutions, government agencies, and online services” would suffer the same fate.
The attack, which may have occurred in the early hours of today, appeared to be a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack – when a server is overwhelmed by many fake requests, usually from bot servers.
Russian hackers have claimed responsibility for several attacks against various countries since the beginning of this year – shortly after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, the Killnet group is believed to be behind a failed attempt to disrupt the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year.
It is also worth mentioning that Cloudflare offers an enterprise plan that offers advanced website security settings. These settings could prevent a DDoS attack and are recommended as the recovery process after an attack can be very costly and time-consuming.
