Last month, we reported that Samsung had released an update for Galaxy S7 and S8 models that were experiencing GPS issues. While GPS is not mentioned in the Galaxy S6 software update details, it does mention stability, bug fixes, new and/or improved features, and performance improvements. Additionally, the Galaxy S6 update is 13MB in size, which is much smaller than the updates released for the S7 (31MB) and S8 (420MB).

It's unclear what's included in the Galaxy S6 update, but it's likely just improvements to the GPS . It's also possible that the update will be rolled out to other countries as well. Unfortunately, like with the S7 and S8, this update won't come with a security patch.
