Yacht Club Games and co-developer Nitrome have finally announced a release date for Shovel Knight Dig on Nintendo Switch, Apple Arcade , and PC via Steam. It's not exactly a direct sequel to the indie smash hit Shovel Knight , but it's an all-new 2D adventure with upgraded visuals, sound, and plenty of action. The key difference is that this game is, to some extent, randomly generated, as "levels are meticulously crafted and then stitched together using proprietary production techniques for infinite replayability." More specifically, the exciting Shovel Knight will be released on platforms on September 23rd. If you have an Apple Arcade, you can play the game for free. However, it will cost $24.99 on Switch and Steam.
